A meet with Kenya’s National Treasury Boss. On Wednesday, 27 January 2021, a delegation from the Blockchain Association of Kenya, led by our Chairman Michael Kimani paid a visit to the office of the National Treasury and Planning. Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Amb. Ukur Yatani was kind enough to grant us time for a sit down.
The agenda was how to accelerate the adoption of blockchain and digital asset technologies by the government, the people and businesses of Kenya.
Speaking on behalf of the Blockchain Association of Kenya, the chairman offered the capacity and experience of the association and its network in supporting the office of the National Treasury and Planning and the government agencies under its office.
It was truly a fruitful session, one that will unlock doors for the association and its network in achieving its objectives, mission and vision.
